Cambridge Audio AZURE 540D region free?

Just wondering how to make this regions free as I have an 'unwatchable' NTSC disc. Thanks!

Last time I checked it was Region free out the box. What's the disc?

It's Hitch (NTSC) DVDR, downloaded from the web... Not had any troubles with any other DVDR's I've obtained from the web, and two copies of this just continuously spin in the drive when I put it in... figured it was a region thing as it's the first NTSC disc I've got...

Mine is region free out of the box. It may not like NTSC DVD-Rs because there might be a conversion issue? I'm speculating as I'm not a video guy. I'd get a commercial NTSC disc to see if the problem is the DVD-R or the region lock.
