Denon 2910 or 1910 with a Panasonic AE700

Would love your help on this one.

I've picked up a Panasonic AE700 whilst in Hong Kong and now need a good DVD player to go with it.

Because the Pana has a HDMI input I'm keen on using that and jumped the gun a little and ordered a DVMI to HDMI cable. As per the title I'm quite keen to pick up either of the Denons and are keen to hear some opinions, pros and cons on either.

I suppose the big question is whether the 2910 really worth the difference when you're using the projector to do the picture processing? Is there really any extra functionality from the 2910 on offer?

I won't be using either for musical reply long-term so that doesn't really enter into it. I want a good value HT machine.
