I've not found a disc that it won't play! I've even put about 40 albums on a DVD-R, which it catagorically states in the manual that it can't play MP3's on a DVD-R, and it plays it perfectly and even list's each album and song!

thanks shodan, but im taking about R1 dvds that have had Region Code Enhancment added to them. has anyone got any R1 RCE discs, (check playusa.com for discs) and do they play on the pioneer 575 ok. i ask this as it dosnt have a way of setting the region it does it automatically which can mean it wont play RCE discs.

I've had a 575 for quite a while now, and it's played everything I've thrown at it. I have a copy of Tora! Tora! Tora! on R1, and I seem to remember that it has RCE on it. No problems playing that. Play.com list only the new special ed. version, and it doesn't say now whether it's RCE or not.

Sorry, somewhat different 575 query - but does this DVD player output from both the RGB scart and from Component cables at the same time?

If you select RGB then it will not output component, although if you set SCART to output composite or Svideo it will output also component.
