Thanks: Gave 304, Got 222 | DVD Player with DVI for upto £300?
Can anyone recommend one for this money. I'm getting a projector and want
to connect using DVI. Any suggestions?

FWIW I changed from a 575 via component prog scan to a 745 via DVI and the difference is highly noticeable. DVI is simply so much sharper, better defined and brighter.

Oakleyspatz, do you see the Denon 1910 having macroblocking issues?
It'll be used for projector, so large image might show it up?

I am currently selling a multi-region Denon 1910 in the classifieds and have seen no macro-blocking issues with it and I am using it on an Infocus 4805 with a 90 inch image !!!

I doubt anyone's foolish enough to go buy something without doing any research.

Thanks...PJ | I have a Thomson 27LCDB03 TV and use the standard 1.5m DVI cable that came with the 745. Picture is spot on (apart from blacker than black but this isn't really an issue for me). Overall picture quality is stunning. There's no macro blocking that I can see, colour reproduction is superb and there's almost zero picture noise.
It does tend to show up poorly encoded discs though - especially those TV series where they've crammed 4 hours onto a DVD9!
