The file on avland isnt corrupt fyi. I'd suspect something wrong your end with your pc. Run a virus checker, spyware remover (adaware)...are you on dialup or broadband ?

the avland file is a Nero native file which can only be copied to cd via nero. The firmware file is contained within the nero file. Open the downloaded file into nero then write this to the disc. The firware should then install.

A demo version of nero can be downloaded which will suffice.

Best of luck.
