Hi all ..a bit of a noobie to all this but was wondering if someone could answer a few questions for me ..my setup is

thomson32f401g tv

pioneer 575a DVD

yamaha rxv350 amp

first of all does the thomson accept progressive scanning ?

that brings me to me second question ..on the pioneer 575 what uotput is best video rgb interlaced or progressive scan ..i cant seem to get rgb progressive scan ?

my TV does accept an RGB connection it also works (well i can still see the picture ) on progressive scan ...

You can only get progressive scan via component not RGB for analogue connections

I dont know the model of TV you have quoted so cant say if it has a component in or if it accepts prog scan via it.

Progressive scan is generally better than interlaced but with all these things it depends on your combination of equipment.
