samsung hd745 for a pioneer 575a

hi there,
i have a philips 329986 lcd with a dvi socket.
i also have a pioneer 575 dvd player which i connect via component and watch in pro scan.

would getting a samsung hd745 dvd player and connecting it via dvi achieve a better picure than the pioneer?

the difference is very very small. I connected my samsung hd745 via component and dvi and there's almost no difference. it even scales 720p and 1080i with component. The picture is darker with component but that's it... just adjust your settings to it.
