Small Dvd Player
My daughter is looking for a DVD player to fit in a small space......so I was thinking of a small square or even vertically mounted model.
Must haves are scart output and Multi region or convertable with a handset hack.
Any suggestions welcome Thanks.

Wh Smiths do or used to do a small Cyberhome CH400 model for £40 and Tesco back along were selling a very similar model for £25.

Might be worth checking out Tesco's just in case they still have their version as its half the price of Wh Smiths. £50 does seem a lot for the spec although the Cyberhome is one of the smallest dvd players out there. I bought a skyworth divx dvd player in Wh Smiths before christmas and that was £24.71 thanks to the use of a 500 points voucher. Features wise its much more advanced than the Cyberhome.
If you want to find out more about the cyberhome there are support forums here;

I have a Cyberhome for sale if you are interested. I purchased it from W.H. Smiths as a small multi-region but have never really used it (I just didn't need it). I used it around 3 times and then packed it back up. It still has the plastic film around the front to protect the casing. Let me know if you are interested.

DK Digital 367 £49.99 as per the ebay link above.
Does anyone know of a small / cheap divx player ? Vertical / upright would be good. I've seen the Kiss 1000 etc but a bit expensive.

The Ronin model doesn't have RGB scart output so you'll be limited to s-video output which won't be as good on most tvs. The vertical DK model also doesn't mention RGB on its scart socket so again may not give as good a picture. The cyberhome as far as I know gives a pretty damn good picture via RGB.

How about £35 inc P&P (which will be a bit expensive) and I can take and e-mail some photo's to you too.
If you are interested, send me an e-mail or PM and I will take the photo's this evening and e-mail them to you.
I can send hi-res ones (around 2.2mb) so you will be able to zoom in and see the plastic film, etc.
