Worth Upgrading?

Currently I have the following Pioneer DVD player http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/product_...nomy_id=62-100

It's ok - but I now have an 26" LCD TV so it tends to not be at its best when connected via RGB Scart

I have been looking at the Toshiba 340E as an aditional player so that I can use progressive scan and connect it up to my old DVD players Dolby Sound system.

Is it worth doing? Will I notice a lot of difference.

Why not consider the Pioneer Dv-575 player? which is seriously good for very little money. Some of the earlier threads compare it with the 340E.

as for picture quality- you should certainly notice a difference

Cause it's £120 and I can get the Toshiba one for £70!
