Excellent price for a used Denon 3910/A11, Which one?

Hi everyone,

I can get either a used Denon 3910 or 5900 for a really good price. Which one would you recommend i should go for. They are about the same price. I know there are alot of issues with the 5900 but they already resolved? Will i see the macroblocking thing on my plasma with 5900. I using the Pioneer 434 plasma with HDMI input.

3910 has the same problems as 5900?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I cant beleive 3910's are already 2nd hand!

I dont know much about the 5900 but I can recomend the 3910 as it is a good player with DVi/HDMI, 12bit 216mhz D/A converter and good build quality.

It does have a few issues but asside from that it is a solid player.

Where are you looking for a second hand Denon 3910 dude? As i'd be quite interested in one myself if you could point me in the direction of one, and a price.

beware macroblocking, trust me it isn't solved as I saw it clear as day during a demo.. in my opinion the Pioneer 868 is a better buy (loving this , really superb picture!)

Cheers,
Andy.
