Audio locked on Sony DAVS400

I have a Sony DAVS 400 Home Theatre with a sound field setting locked onto "Headphone Theatre". It will play sound through headphones but not through the external speakers.

I cannot bring up the other sound field settings.

I have obviously removed the headphones!

Can anyone help please??

I have the same problem with my old Sony DAVS 400 and if there's a way to get it out of headphones theatre mode permanently, it would be nice to have the old girl as a back-up system or even to place it in my bedroom?

I did notice that sometimes it came out of headphone theatre mode for a period of time but you never knew quite when this would occur.

If anyone can help me with this that would be great as I'm quite sentimental about this system because it was my first 5.1 set up
