playing copied dvds

i have a multi region toshiba SD-100E (i know its old but i live in a shared house and between us we have 3 dvd players so didn't really want to buy a new one), anyway does anyone know if/how i can play copied dvds on it, when i put a disc in it comes up with a disc error message, cheers

What kind of copies are you referring to ?

althought it does not have native dvd recordable support it will play some recordable dvds, i,am using datawrite classic 8x -r to backup my disks to and they play back fine. althought the carridge does make a little ticking sound in the background whilst tracking the disk. i will try another format sometime to see if this will help with the tracking.
