Who's a likely supplier for the new Denon 1710?

I quite fancy this as a cheap replacement for my Pioneer 454. Who are good online suppliers of multi-region modded Denon gear?

You could try www.avland.o.uk
If you want progressive scan you might be best waiting for a review as many cheap progressive players seem to have poor de-interlacers.

Thanks.

Will wait for a review, and the £160 Samsung looks a likely candidate too...

So do DVD players actually de-interlace then? I thought that they had to interlace the original full frame MPEG source into two fields in order to produce a normal TV signal?

The player will de-interlace when you use it in progressive scan mode.
