When does the uk get cheap sub £100 portable dvd players

I remember reading that chinese factories are now knocking out the more basic portable models at a factory cost of $40. Which I presume is just the cost of the main unit. They still have the expense of packing, accessories, licensing, transport, profit, guarantee etc. I see amazon are selling a basic dvd portable for £85 in the states;

When does the uk get sub £100 basic dvd portables?

I just want to muck around with a basic one. The industry view is that portable dvd players will sell really well at a sub £100 price this coming christmas but why can't I have one now like the yanks?

Something in the £150 bracket with a 5-7 inch screen would be nice!
