Has anyone bought anything online from www.hifistore.co.uk recently? Any feedback good or bad on this bunch? TIA!

I have bought most of my gear from there over quite a few years.

They are also a retail operation, so no disappearing website worries!

All in all, top guys!!

I've used them once and would again, no hesitation.

I just dealt with Hifistore for the first time and I'm impressed.
I e-mailed Monday morning about availability of Project Xpression turntable (it didn't show up as "In Stock"). 'Gary' replied about 4:30pm saying they were now in stock, so I placed an order at 5:10pm which was acknowledged almost by return.
The Shipped note arrived Tuesday at 5:30pm with link to UPS tracking service - which was also in my e-mail. The item arrived Wednesday 3:15pm.
The UPS service means you can track the items as they move from depot to depot and then leave for delivery.
Excellent service - I'm on the South Coast and they are in Cheshire.

Yep, superb service. I'd recommend them highly.

I bought a QED Scart to Component converter box and a DVI to HDMI adaptor. Both arrived next day. The adaptor was wrong. One phone call and a the correct replacement arrived next day with an SAE for return of the wrong one on trust. Can't say fairer than that. Recommended.
