Just what do we use our dvd players for anyway?

With so many features on dvd players nowadays I just thought I'd do a poll on general usage. Because its a one vote only poll I've grouped usage together so its not super accurate but should give some indication of normal usage.

you only get 10 options and I simply ran out. I did think of audio cds but must admit I hadn't even thought about SACD and DVD Audio. A follow up poll concerning these 3 uses could be combined with these results to give a fuller picture of usage though.

Axed mp3s! Surely this is a popular feature of dvd players. I use it all the time as do most of my family and friends. I bet theres a lot more users out there playing mp3s than sacd and dvd audio. Results so far show mp3 usage approaching 1 in 4 which is pretty substantial.

Personally, I just use mine for DVD (Video), CD, and the occasional SACD. Presumably I fit into the "Region 2 Only" section...!

Unfortunately mine is a R2 only machine...

Wow! the vast majority out there are using multiregion players and dvds. I never realised it would be so high. Just shows you how much region coding is against consumer interests. I realise the statistics here may not represent the average dvd player owner though but I still reckon even across all dvd player owners it would be higher than the industry thinks.
