which dvd player?

Hi,

I am after a dvd player that can play R1 dvds - easy you might think!

Trouble is it must also be small! and play dvd-r and most importantly have a HDMI output too.

When I say small, I mean smaller than a piece of A4 paper - that sort of size.

I already have a UK PS3, but as we all know it does not play R1 DVDs. I holidayed in the US recently and picked up some cheap dvds with the view to purchasing a dvd player when i got home! but it is turning out to be harder than I thought!

any ideas? price is not really important but the cheaper the better

cheers

Andrew

Re: which dvd player?

I don't have a PS3 so I have some ignorance here.

If the PS3 will play NTSC discs that are region specific then a simple solution would be to recreate the DVDs using something like DVD Shrink that'll remove the R1 restriction.
