Daewoo DF4150P combi DVD/VCR

I have a Daewoo DF4150P Combi DVD/VCR and works great on analogue tv, just got HD digital panasonic tv and plugged through the scart or component leads the colour is very green. is fine for a few seconds then goes green.
I have no remote so am using a universal remote with no menu button, I have tried to get into the menu to try switching to progressive scan on the combi but cant work out how to do it with no remote.
how can I access menu with no remote and should the colours be bad through scart or component.

Re: Daewoo DF4150P combi DVD/VCR

My best friend bought it from Macro as a special with no remote, and sadly he died of cancer last year and left it to me, its worked fine on my analogue TV ever since he died but the switch to digital has left me with this problem.

If all else fails, you could try Daewoo tv remote controls

Re: Daewoo DF4150P combi DVD/VCR

You are going to be stuck without menu access.

Its possible that the unit is outputting S video in which case connect it to the Panasonic on a S Video capable scart socket and select S-video mode on that input.

Re: Daewoo DF4150P combi DVD/VCR

Now got correct remote entered set up and changed the output of combi to progressive scan as manual suggests, picture still green, is fine for about 5 seconds as the Daewoo logo is displayed but then goes green as the output from vidio/dvd takes over.
I cannot understand why it works perfect on analogue tv.

Re: Daewoo DF4150P combi DVD/VCR

Is the picture green when TV is connected to the DVD/VCR by only the component leads (no SCART)?
