I'm also in the market for a HD recorder, looking at the Lite-on at the moment, but this looks good. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

This is the same dvd recorder they had in Aldi last thursday.
I downloaded the manual for the Phocus and it is exactly the same.

If it has the same bugs as the Tevion then stay clear.
Remember these dvd's have no harddisk editing, files appear as a list, not like on a dvd with thumbnails.

Look on the dvd recording and pvr threads.
