Game for 9yr old boy

Hi all

Firstly I must say the lack of ds games in stock everywhere is shocking..

My lad is getting the sickly green (I couldn't deter him) DS Console, Worms 2 and indiana jones lego for Christmas and my mum would like to buy him a game.

I thought of Zelda, Yoshi's island, Professor layton and animal crossing.

I can't get any of them anywhere. he already has most of the mario games, dogs, spyro and sonic rush.

Please recommend a good ds game that might actualy be in stock

Have you tried looking online? I'm not sure if buying online is an option but I would've thought that way you won't have to worry about stock issues and it will be cheaper. Failing that then the games you suggested all sound pretty good to me if you can find anywhere that has them, you may have to plump for buying pre-owned games instead at Game or Gamestation if there are branches near you.

Thanks AfxTwn

I couldn't get any of those titles online either. I ended up getting lego batman because I think he'll like that too.

I can get him Animal Crossing in the New Year

Re: Game for 9yr old boy

I think that the collapse of Woolworths, and it's distribution company Entertainment UK that supplied video games to many other retailers, has caused the lack of titles available this year.

If you need another game choice (if someone else asks what to buy him) then my 8 year old likes the Sonic Dark Brotherhood game

thanks captainff

Yes I think you're right about Woolworths. I hope they manage to save it.

Thanks for the heads up on the game.
