question about using the usb wi-fi connecter

Hi,

hope I don't confuse anyone in this but just have a few wonders....

I currently have a netgear adsl modem router and currently have my 360, wii connected through....anyways - before I had this I was simple connecting my 360 and wii to the internet in just having a simple local area connection and sharing the connection ie: just plugging the ethernet cable from the 360 into the back of the pc

now when I was doing the local area connection, I installed the nintendo usb wi-fi connector which worked fine - got me wi-fi on my old ds - but in doing that, the local area connection stopped working - you network minded people might think this is obvious but in having this wi-fi thing plugged in that stops the wired local area connection working

so since then I didnt use the usb wi-fi thing because every time I wanted to use wi-fi on my ds, the local area connection thing didnt work an got tedious

anyway.........................onto my question - now I have a netgear ROUTER - if I install the nintendo wi-fi usb connector, will this stop my router which has my 360, wii from working?

hope some people will understand an help me out

any questions - feel free

cheers for reading
