Hi guys!

Well i have a lil problem, recently my DS lite had the right hinge broken, so i replaced the whole housing for a brand new one, the top screen was presenting some color distortion before the replacement, so when i replaced the housing(Shell) the top screen stopped working what i did was to buy a whole new top screen to replace the defective one, but to my surprise after i get the DS lite together with the new screen, the screen is all white and no images at all, i tried tuning the 2 reistor near by the volume control but nothing works on it, Is there any other solution to this problem?, i do not want to throw it away because i cannot afford a new handheld, any help would be highly appreciated.

Have you tried going to nintendo directly? They do charge for their services but it always works. I think you may have a motherboard or bus fault. Most people don't remember to keep the motherboard away from dust when fixing the console .

Triple check the ribbon cables are all plugged in properly as this is a common fault, although white screens are not the usual symptoms, it's still worth a try!
