Nintendo DSi and SD(HC) cards?

Hey guys,

Just got a DSi not too long ago and have decided on increasing the amount of storage of it to 8GB by buying a card - thing is I'm not sure what type of card I should be looking for. From reading around it looks like I'll need to get either a SDHC card or a micro SDHC version... is this correct? Ones I'm looking at are:

SanDisk 8GB SDHC Secure Digital Card: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Play.com (UK) - Mobile - Free Delivery

Will either of these cards work without any problems or any other cards I should be looking for?

Also wanted to know if when you insert the card, it will stick out on the DSi or if you can pop it in and not see it?

Thanks

The DSi does support Micro SD cards by using the SD card adaptor you get with micro SD cards.

At the moment most people are saying that up to 16GB SDHC are working fine on the DSi but to be honest unless you plan on putting tons of AAC songs or buying hundreds of games from the DSi store then something like a 4gb to 8gb would be more than enough storage.

That scandisk card DOES work .. .. .. .. but .. .. .. .. I'm not sure the DSi recognises it correctly. I have a 1GB SD card that my DSi says can store 3000 photos; it also says my 8GB SDHC card can store 3000 photos

Regarding inserting the cards there is a cover you pull out on the right so that you can insert your SD card that then clips back into place (imagine a mobile phone memory card slot) so you cannot tell if one is inserted just by looking.
