Hi.

I read in the papers weeks ago about a DS fitness game that comes with an external wifi gadget that you can put on your ankle that counts how many foot steps & miles you have walked.
Does anyone know what this game is called and if its out yet cos I can't find anything like it on Game or Gamestation's web sites!

I believe that's "My Fitness Coach" by Ubisoft. It comes with a Pedometer to track your "fitness level".

There is also My Weight Loss Coach on the DS which comes bundled with the pedometer - not sure if its the same as the other Ubisoft title - its been around since last summer and may be a little difficult to pick up now with the pedometer..

A bit gimmicky too.

After doing some more online research I've found the title.

The game is called "Walk with Me" and it was supposed have been launched in Europe on the 20th Feb 09, but it has been put back to a later unspecified date due to "Production Issues?"

The game comes with the usual DS game cartridge plus 2 pedometers that you can share with a partner that clip onto either you're belt or ankle (Or a Dog collar if you want) that is wirelessly connected to you're DS.

It measures the amount of steps (And speed I assume?) and works out the distance covered, fat burned etc.
You can use this data and compare/share with friends using the DS's wifi connectivity.

So a bit like the Wii fit but portable and only for long distance walking sessions.

Right up my street.
