Should I wait before buying a DS?

My old dear would like to buy a DS with brain training.

As there is a new DSi coming on to the market, should she wait a few months. Would the DS be cheaper? Or do you think it will stay at current prices and the DSI will be more expensive?

Any help appreciated.

TBH I really doubt that nintendo would drop the price of the ds by much (I wouldn't say more than £10-15 - they're flying of the shelves already so they don't need to) and there are some great deals to be found out there anyway so I'd just get one now.

I agree with Dice, the new DSi won't be coming out for quite some time yet (Spring at the earliest!) and the new added-features don't seem too impressive (very low res camera). I'd get a normal DS now as you can get great deals for them and their are absolutely loads of great games out there for the DS for a lot less than the usual 360/Wii/PS3 games.
