Multiple cartridge games for multiplayer

We already have a DS Lite for my eldest son, he has the following games:

Micro Machines 4
FIFA 07
New Super Mario
Lego Star Wars Complete Saga
Lego Indiana Jones
Dr Kawashima's Brain Training
Chessmaster

We're about to get a second DS Lite for my younger son.

I know some of the games we already have allow multi-player games with a single cart.

Can anyone tell me whether any of these games have multiplayer options when you have a game cart in each DS?

If you only need a single cart, I'll buy different games for boy 2, but if you can get good multiplayer experiences it might be worth buying a second cart for some of the games we already have.

Advice and insights gratefully received.

Well if you go to the official Nintendo DS site here: Nintendo DS Lite - Nintendo and click on the first FAQ question about which multiplayer types there are, then it will show you which symbols to look out for on the game's cases. That way you'll know which ones are single cartridge multiplayer and which ones require multiple cartridges.

Re: Multiple cartridge games for multiplayer

Thanks for that. I know the symbols. Perhaps I should have been clearer, I was trying to find out whether any of the games had multicart multiplayer versions which were worth the expense of buying the game a second time.

EDIT: I mean, all those games have multicart multiplayer options, was wondering if anyone had played them in this way and could say if any of them were particularly good.

Also, New Super Mario is both multicart and single cart multiplayer. Is the multicart version so much better than the single cart multiplayer game to make it worth spending money?

Re: Multiple cartridge games for multiplayer

Sorry to bump this, but has anyone played the multi-cart multiplayer versions of any of these? Are they worth playing? Is New Super Mario's multi-cart multiplayer better than the single cart multiplay?

Birthday is looming large and want to spend money wisely.

Thanks in advance
