Just wondering if there's anything like Pilotwings on the SNES for the DS ? .... I wonder if Nintendo would ever think or releasing a DS version ... would be cool !

According to GameFAQs the only simulation/flight games on the DS are the following:

B-17: Fortress in the Sky
Blades of Thunder II
DS Air (working title)
F24: Stealth Fighter
Freedom Wings
IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey
Jet Impulse
Ore no Sentouki
Top Gun

Having not played any of these games (or pilotwings) I cannot say whether these are suitable replacements in the meantime, however I do know that there's been no info at all on a new version being released (for the ds at the very least).

Thanks but none of these would be similar to pilotwings ... Oh and you've never played pilotwings ... I'm shocked
