Connecting to UK Hotspots for Online Gaming

Hello,

Can the DS connect to UK hotspots for online gamings?

I cant seem to access nintendowifi for more info but I have a T-mobile hotspot account. Connecting to the hotspot is via a web based login so im not sure how the DS would do it.

I have read somewhere that there are hotspots that offer free access but i cant find confirmation on this?

Any help on this?
