Chrono Trigger DS

Rumuours are abound of Chrono Trigger DS.

This site has appeared which has a clock counting down:

http://www.square-enix.co.jp/ctds/

Scans of Famitsu have also indicated this could be true as well located here.

http://wiieveryday.blogspot.com/2008...-20080704.html

If this is the case I might have to get hold of a DS again because this was one of my favourite games

Re: Chrono Trigger DS

This was a great game indeed, trouble is if we see this then more than a few people will be crying out for secret of mana/evermore, illusion of gaia/time and me especially for what imo is the best rpg ever made on any system, terranigma.

And the ds is far more than a portable snes right? that honour fell to the gameboy advance, i think i'd be wanting a bit more bang for my buck, unless of course they considered a compilation cartridge with the entire square/enix snes back catalogue on it, then i'd but the thing and lock myself away for a year or two .

Chrono Trigger would be a great place to start though (if it is really going to come to the DS). You aren't wrong .. .. .. Secret of Mana NEEDS to be brought to this generation of consoles as the Sword and Children of Mana games were pants in comparison (see .. .. it's started already!!)

I might have to go up to the loft and drag down my SNES ...............

Re: Chrono Trigger DS

I remember years ago reading a review for Chrono Trigger in C&VG magazine.
I was really into Secret of Mana, Illusion of Time and other SNES RPG's so I was really excited about it. Right at the end of the very positive review it said that unfortunately it would probably never get released over here, I was so gutted.

Fast forward 13 years and I'm finally going to get to play it! Definately one for my Christmas list, I can't wait.

Re: Chrono Trigger DS

I cant believe CT was never released over here that being the case I wonder if this game will sell in the UK.

Seen as I never gotten a chance to play the game, I imported it from the US, as soon as it was released and I must say I was impressed, everything about the game was outstanding and I can honestly say it has been the longest amount of time I have spent on my DS.

Shortly after playing it, I went out and purchased Chrono Cross, although I was quite dissapointed .

Craig.
