Hello.

I need a game (realise I will need 2 copies) for me and my girlfriend's son to play on Holiday.

He loves Pokemon and we did that in when it came out. He also loves RPGs like Eternal Sonata on the 360.

So, can anyone recommend anything similar to Pokemon? i.e you play it separately but can link up to trade and fight etc.

Not sure how Zelda works on the multiplayer side of things.

Zelda is a great single player game, but the two player bit didn't really excite my two eldest, and it lacks a narrative thread. How about MarioKart DS?

I would concur with MarioKart DS (probably the most addictive multiplayer on the DS imo ).

The problem is, if you're looking for another RPG style game like Pokemon with online multiplayer and chat, I actually can't think of anything better than Pokemon ....it's the best selling game of it's genre on the DS.

Mario kart is overhyped, just a basic kart racing game if that, diddy kong is far more enjoyable, but as the op wanted lego indy is probably the best 2 player ds game, the co-o is hidden as one of the treasure in a room, go downstairs and the door on the left i think, go in that room and you will see a ds multiplayer icon on one of the artifacts

I agree that Mario Kart is brilliant and the best multiplayer game I have played on the ds so far.
