Games for a kid with learning difficulties?

I'm looking for ideas for games for a 9 year old girl with learning difficulties. Simple games that involve left, right up and down (probably about my level of ability in fact!)

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Games for a kid with learning difficulties?

Hi Kieron.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but i did manage to find this article:

http://www.game-accessibility.com/in...file=cognitive

They mention one-switch games that only require a single button/stylus to play.......which took me to this site, set up with the express prupose of finding games for people with learning difficulties:

http://www.oneswitch.org.uk/

If it's not there, I'm sure firing off an e-mail to them they'll be able to give you a selection of what's good or not.

There is one game I can recommend (I simply LOVE this one myself), but it's less of a game and more of a "musical exploration" - ElectroPlankton.

I can't explain why, but its REALLY addictive (manipulate various plankton to give different sounds and create melodies) and it's available in most shops.
