Played and completed this, found it to be a worthy addition to the Zelda library, one of the (much) better games for the DS.

Yes. Although this is one of the better DS games, it is the worst Zelda game I have played - and my biggest gaming disapointment of 2007.

Having to do the same temple over and over and over is just boring, and lazy coding.

The game is no challenge at all and it is far more linear than other Zeldas. Side quests are pointless and sparse.

The original Gameboy Zelda is a far better game.....

I've just finished this and very much enjoyed it. As a seasoned Zelda player I did find it fairly easy and the lack of side-quests was a shame but overall it's full of so many little touches that made me smile and the puzzles were very clever indeed. Definitely a thumbsup from me.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Bumping this back up as I have a question.

My Mum is currently playing this game and has a problem. She is on the Ghost Ship where the sisters are, I believe she has to guide one back to the other.

The problem she has is this; the stone/gem that turns off the blue fire has gone, she had it and while was working out where it needed to go, she tapped the touch screen a little to far away from Link and it was thrown in the direction of the red sister, now the stone/gem is no where to be found not even where she got it from.

Other than start all over again as she cant move on, does anyone have any ideas?

Only getting round to playing this now and have Spirit Tracks ready for afters Played a bit a few years back but got distracted and its been on my wanted list since.

What a game, all the charm of the Zelda series and looks wonderul. I thought the stylus might annoy me but it works really well. I think the family may struggle for my attention this festive season.

It's a fine, fine game. Took me about a year of casual play to finish it. Can't wait for the new one.
