Start the game up, press Start. On the next (main menu) screen press Settings.
In that screen select Sound, then in Music select Off

I've become pretty good at it now and can generally score around 150-160 each game getting at least a spare on most goes. Managed to get quite a few turkeys (3 strikes in a row) as well. Once you get into the swing of it, it becomes pretty easy to be accurate.

That said, i'm not immune to bouts of pressure and it's a lot harder to be accurate in a tight game where you know that a failure to get at least a spare could mean defeat!

Everytime I try to see any friends rooms I get nothing - is there a way to see via the DS which friends are online at any one time?

Nice one! I had my first defeat for a long time at bowling earlier! I played absolutely awful and only managed around 100 coming 3rd out of 5 .

Yes I am having the same problem.... otherwise the only way of knowing is checking back here to see if someone has set up a game. I've not played anyone from here yet! I'll certainly be around tomorrow (Saturday) night if people want some games

Sadly, one of the major flaws of the friends code idea. Itll be a much happier world when Nintendo copy the Sony style of online matchups.

Yeah, sorry! Typically, just after I posted that, I noticed that there was a settings option on the main menu screen. I'd only looked on the setup screens for the actual games, where there aren't any options for sound.

The sound effects are mostly as annoying as the music, so I've gone back to turning the sound off altogether.

Re: 42 All-Time Classics

Really been enjoying this game It could do with a little more charm, the presentation is rather cold, but its good fun.

Been playing the stamp collecting last few days. Tried to find some games online but haven't managed to find an available session yet

I'll add all your codes now. My code is 1804 6926 6963

Ive added you if you fancy a game now, I only play bowling dont think much of the other games, theyre more suited to being in the same room, like you say its bland but the bowling is TOO addictive !

Just seen a Kaos dark score 243 on bowling, got a spare on the 6th and 10th, other than that, all strikes !!!, the swine.

Re: 42 All-Time Classics

I found bowling and darts too random. Drawing straight lines is hard enough.

Re: 42 All-Time Classics

Nah the bowling has at least some element of skill, the darts is ridiculous as is the pool.

Re: 42 All-Time Classics

I think this game could easily start a craze, especially for public transport when its more likely for you to dig your DS out.

Do like the Card games, oh, if you use your index finger as a ruler its easier for bowling and darts.
