my son connected his dsi 2 the internet and updated to 1.4 and does any1 know how to down grade it to a 1.3 ... thanks

Don't think it is possible to downgrade firmware on the dsi, if you are using flashcard you may be able to update firmware on that or buy a compatible flashcard to work with 1.4 update.

I'm guessing 1.4 is not compatible with the original posters flashcart, unless a fix has been released.

1.4 disables flashcards and you cannot downgrade, you'll need an alternative flashcard with updateable firmware.

Usually you cannot downgrade to a previous version of the firmware. It is the same with other machines (iPhone, PSP etc)
