Importing DSI

Hi, i just asked my brothers girlfriend to pick me up a dsi from america, but wanted to know if there are any regional issues.
I know that games are region free, but what about the online shop?
Do i have to buy stuff only from the us shop or can i still buy from the uk one?
Finally if i do have to buy from the us shop, does that mean i have to use US ebay to buy points?

Thanks for all the help Jab

Re: Importing DSI

DS games are region free. I think DSi games (when they are finally released) are going to be region locked. The DSi store is definitely region locked. Not sure if points can be used in any region .. .. ..

The other thing is that the charger for the DSi is different from the DS charger so you'll need a step down transformer (or you'll need to buy a UK DSi charger).

Re: Importing DSI

Thanks for that, in that case, it is just to much hassell to import. Might aswell buy the uk version , since the dsi games are going to be region locked, and it seems it is going to be to much hassel imorting every time for me.
Thanks anyway.
