Nintendo DS Games for a 18-Year-Old Female?

Had to debate whether to use the world "Girl" or "Woman" with my girlfriend. In the end we agreed with "Female" so neither of us are happy .

She loved Professor Layton, Enjoyed Pokemon Pearl until she didn't know how to get the 4th badge and quit. Hated TWEWY because she found it too hard. She loves games like Tetris and Bomberman too. She hated Henry Hatsworth though it was a pretty good game (IMO). She loved New! Super Mario Bros. until she quit that after World 4.

I think thats enough information, shes been bored after I bought her a Pink DSLite last October and stopped playing it around a month ago. I've got a £10 high street voucher that I'm planning to use too.

Any ideas please

Zoo Keeper, my wifes all time favourite DS game.
Yoshis Island, preferred this to New Super Mario.
Picross, great little Sudoku style game with pics rather than numbers.

Should all be pretty cheap by now aswell

She had Yoshi's Island for the GBA but found it too complicated. But might give the other two a go! Thanks a lot.

Over the past two years, my girlfriend has developed minor addictions to Brain Training/More Brain Training, 42 All Time Classics and Elite Beat Agents, with the latter two still being very popular some months on.

Have you got a Wii? The Nintendo Channel is constantly updating the DS demos available.. .. .. .. might help if she can try a game first

Hotel dusk or Another code would be perfect.

Re: Nintendo DS Lite Games for a 18-Year-Old Female?

Hey, just a little update.
Managed to get zoo keeper from my local CEX for £8, I'll probably able to give it after she's back from rutland water today.

Thinking of getting Hotel dusk for around £13 after seeing some pretty good reviews on ign and gamespot from play.com.

She can't be like me and be a crazy squeenix fan .

Arigatou for your help!

Good claim, there are a few game modes but time attack is my wifes favourite, we used to compete alot on the high score table but these days I can't even get close to bottom 10th place spot, all those Tetlee scores are long gone

I've given it to her today, she'll let me know how she finds it. I'd probably get scared if she beat me at a game! I bought her the DS cause shes never actually had a console before, and I guess the DS was with the largest variety, plus she's crazy over the colour pink... (She hated games before I came into the picture ).

Still doing a little bit of looking around, she's played picross before but doesn't like it, but shes a big fan of sudoku for some reason .

Again, thanks for the help, I tried zoo keeper and looked like something she'd play, so hoping for the best.

Should have said in my previous post – the two Brain Training Games each come with 150-odd sudoku puzzles. Might be worth a shot if she likes sudoku enough.

I'll keep that in mind

@Tetlee: She's in love with zoo keeper now, she's in hospital today unfortunately after a small allergic reaction, but she has it to pass the time. Also, I'm here wishing I'd bought my DS, games on my iPhone aren't as fun as people think they are .
