media center and sim2 20h

I just had my sim2 20h installed and wired to my media center via a hdmi to dvi cable. I have 2 screens connected to the media center, a plasma screen via the vga out and the sim2 via the dvi out. the plasma works fine until i connect the dvi of the sim , which causes both screens to go dead.i cannot get any signal on the sim at all. has anyone had this problem?

Sounds like something for the PC forum to me! It is more likely to be down to the graphics card and/or PC settings than the displays. Have you ensured dual-display is setup correctly on the PC? With both displays receiving their relevant native resolutions etc?
