Quick question on Pixel Mapping

I'm using my pc regularly on a temporary basis untill new one assembled(have to fight my son) for sky (just installed sweetspot) and dvd's obviously. Now the pixel Mapping issue. I ranted about the virtues of this several weeks ago. I used the settings for my panny100 that were kindly supplied by Hoglet. Reading a thread over on the Simm forum made me wonder if I've got everthing correct. Apparently with the Domino 20 you can choose from its menu a pixel/mapping/matching option. Now the panny doesn't have this feature. So what does happen. Does the output from the PC simply 'overide' the panny's on board scaler?

I'm slow but I'll get there eventually!

Thanks
Lawrence
