Cloverfield Blu
Anyone know if Paramount have any plans to release this one on Blu any time soon, it was absolutely stonking at the cinema and it could do with a hi def release more for the sound than anything else.

I haven't heard of Paramount releasing anything on blu yet.

All Paramounts Hd releases are up in the air at the moment.I would think there probably at the back of the que with limited blu ray production facility's after dropping the format so publicly last year.

Does anyone have any more news on the HD BD release? It seems a waste to watch it in SD if a HD version is due out soon.

I can't find any of the websites (Movietyme etc) listing this on blu-ray, just sd-dvd on 22nd April.

Surely this would be an excellent 1st Blu-ray Disc release for Paramount under the new order.
Its style may not suit high definition pictures the maximum level, but you could say the same about 300.

A SD DVD version of this would suffice for me, can't see the BD format making all that much difference here. Maybe that's why they haven't been in a rush to confirm anything.

That's what I thought, so was wondering why the posts above were talking about a possible release on 22nd April for blu-ray.
It might not have been the best hd title for PQ but the trailer on the PS store cetainly looked better than sd.
