Is 'Superbad' UK Blu-ray the extended version?

On UK dvd, we have the normal and extended/unrated versions, but there is only one version available on Blu-ray which doesn't say anything about it being the extended version. Could someone please confirm if it is, and, if anyone knows, exactly what the differences are between the two versions anyway.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks very much for confirming. Do you know what the differences are by the way? I've only ever watched the extended version.

Re: Is 'Superbad' UK Blu-ray the extended version?

Thanks for that, Sapp. It's funny you posted that- I only just watched the film last night on BD for the first time with my wife. I think the film is great, but I was disappointed when my wife afterwards said she thought it was 'naff'. I asked her why she thought so- she said they just talked about sex through the whole film. I reminded her it was a TEEN comedy, and that's basically what every teen comedy is about, including American Pie which she likes btw. Oh well.

Loved American Pie and before that Porkys, thought Superbad was dreadful. Anyway, how can you possibly have a teen-comedy without t*ts?

Re: Is 'Superbad' UK Blu-ray the extended version?

I thought Superbad was a good watch. I think we can surely all agree that it's light-years ahead of some of the cash-ins being passed off as teen comedies these days. I'm thinking of the 642 American Pie sequels in particular. And Eugene Levy was in every one of them...

Re: Is 'Superbad' UK Blu-ray the extended version?

Watched this last night. Thought it was pathetic. Yes it was a teen comedy, yes you expect jokes about d**ks and sex but this was just taken completely too far. The cops were just about the most annoying, pathetic characters ever commited to film (Seth Rogan dissapointed me there after the excellent Knocked up) and there were only two moments where I raised more than a grunt of amusement. Superbad about describes this film perfectly. Didn't think much of the BD PQ either.
