Thumbs up Blue Underground horror coming to blu-ray

Some of you will probably be aware of this, but I couldn't find it in the archives.

Horror independant 'Blue Underground' have announced that they are now working on a number of HD titles on blu-ray.

Ooooh. Fulci? Argento? Can't wait.

This is the best HD news of the whole year so far!

Easily the best horror label.

Too right.

And as they've just struck up a HD print for last months release of 'The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue' we can be hopeful that should be amongst the first released.

Re: Blue Underground working on HD

I thought the SD DVD release of The Final Countdown was excellent hopefully the Blu Ray will be just as good.

A definite order for me!

Re: Blue Underground working on HD

No Suspiria?that would look great on Blu.There was a box of Argento released recently by Anchor,I was hopping it would be releaed on Blu.
Still, this is excellent news and "Blue underground" fits perfectly with "Blu Ray"

The restored version of Suspiria is now owned by Ther Weinstein's Dimension Films, and is rumoured to be released sometime on their Dimension Extreme label.

Can't wait.

I'm pretty sure Blue Underground's DVD releases are all region free too. It's Bill Lustig's label.

Made for the fans
