Welcome To The Jungle CUT on Blu-ray

Following from what I have read HERE and HERE, I am rather hoping that THIS one due for release on 14/4/08 will hopefully be the uncut version. Can anyone confirm if this will be the case?

I can't believe they made the cock-up of releasing a cut version of the film on Blu-ray in the first place, especially considering the dvd version is uncut.

This release has absolutely nothing to do with the 2003 film. It's a (straight to DVD?) Blair-Witch style 2007 low budget 80 minute 'reality' horror story full of endless 'shaky cam'. Don't be fooled by the fact that the blurb says it's written/directed by the guy who wrote Hollywood films like "Jumanji", "Die Hard with a Vengeance" and "Armageddon" - this is incredibly low-budget indie fare, although the acting is convincingly real (feels very much like a reality shoot) and it moves along at a fair pace. But I have no idea why it's been released on Blu-Ray when it's natural format would be VHS.

Re: Welcome To The Jungle CUT on Blu-ray

Thanks for the info, but at the time of writing my original post (which was a while ago), the cover image of the newly released BD was in fact the cover of the film starring The Rock. I haven't looked at it until you replied, and of course the cover has now changed to the other films art.
I know not to bother with it anyway, but I am still a little miffed that the film with The Rock is cut on BD. It's not the best film ever, but would have been ok at a cheap price so long as it had all the action in.

I believe that the French, German and Australian releases are all uncut, its only the UK that got the cut version.
