Hitman BD Digital Copy

Has anyone else tried importing the digital copy of the second DVD disc into iTunes yet?

You get taken to an itunes store page that asks you to put a code in, but when you enter the code itunes tells you it's for a promotion that hasn't started yet ?!

The film isn't officially released until the 11th of March (US), so maybe you have to wait until then.

i was thinking that as well and will it even work in the uk

I never thought of that. I have the R1 Family Guy Blue Harvest DVD and was able to copy the digital version using my American iTunes account. I didn't try it with my Irish account. It would be interesting to see the digital copy function in general works with a non-US account.

Got the same message when i tried to copy the itunes version at the weekend. Have you tried the windows media version instead?

Just saw this for the first time as my disc arrived tonight, better then i thought it was going to be. I also didnt realise that vin diesel was executive producer.

I noticed that on amazon.co.uk the case picture has a lack of "Digital Copy" banner on it. Does anyone know whether it will get a digital copy or not?

I doubt it, only other Fox release I am basing that assumption on is Family Guy Blue Harvest, US DVD release had a Digital copy included while the UK DVD didnt.

the windows version worked fine but the itunes one says i need a us account
is there anyway around tht other thsn getting a US credit card?

buy a US itunes gift card off ebay, and set up an account that way.

Or if you know anyone going to the US get them to buy you a gift card. This is how I setup my US account.

Just managed to blag my way through this without a gift card or us credit card.
Make sure you are in the us store and signed out (if you already have a non us account)
On the right hand side of the home page under quick links....click on redeem. Put in the serial code and it will ask you to log in or create a new account..select the new account option and fill out the details and make sure you use a us address.....i used the hotel Axel foley stayed at in Beverly hills cop

Doing it this way....because it thinks you are using a code it will allow you to create an account without the need for any credit card details and just give you the option to enter them...not force you.

When you get to the final part it will probably tell you the code failed..but fear not..Your account will still have been created....Now while logged into your account put the digital copy disc in....enter the serial again and copy to itunes....

works a treat! now if i can only get it to work with paypal or a credit card so i can buy stuff now i have an account hmmmm
