Any Blu-ray You Delighted To Own?

Just in terms of picture and audio quality (no Barry Norman film reviews please!) which Blu-Ray Discs have you been delighted with ?

Despite comments that it is the 'worst' version I would say that the US release of Pans Labyrinth is a superb example of what Blu-ray can offer - an almost 3D picture is paired with an amazing DTS Master Audio soundtrack.

Other favourites are Kingdom Of Heaven (Region A) and Rescue Dawn (Region A).

Spiderman 3 is amazing. The Sandman scene is visually and acoustically stunning

Re: Any Blu-ray You Delighted To Own?

The following are excellent BD exclusives - great PQ/SQ & most of all a damn good film:

A Few Good Men
Halloween
Kingdom of Heaven
Identity
Run Lola Run
Casino Royale
Speed
Spider-Man(s)
(obviously 1 & 2 are the good films here)

The following are either dual-format, or HD DVD exclusives worth looking for as soon as they arrive on BD:

Casablanca
The Polar Express
Stardust
Inside Man
Hot Fuzz
Mission Impossible(s)
Blade Runner
The Matrix(es)
(obviously the first is easilly the better film of the three)
King Kong
Face/Off
Children of Men
Dog Day Afternoon
The Adventures of Robin Hood
Harry Potters(s)

Re: Any Blu-ray You Delighted To Own?

For me my stand out purchases have been:

Blade Runner
Hellboy

I plan on picking up a few more pretty soon like 30 Days Of Night and Resident Evil Trilogy.

If I had to pick one, Bladerunner 5 disc colllectors edition.

Probably the best this classic movie is ever going to look.
