short circuit for may blu-ray release :)

i see over on hidefdigest that short circuit is headed for blue ray in may... a real blast from the past for me.. must have watched it 100 times when i was a kid... cant wait to revisit it again in HD

be interesting to see what the transfer is like

Yay....Jonny 5 is Alive.

just bought the SD DVD the other day. Still sealed though so i'll try and palm it off as a birthday or xmas present.

Love this film, filmed in the beautiful Astoria Oregan, same place as The Goonies and Free Willy

Its a shame it will most likely be locked (given Image's only two releases thus far have been locked.

well it seems it is region locked.... damn shame.. why they would region lock a catalogue title beggers belief really..

amazon.co.uk have a placeholder for the title but no release date.. anyone have any idea of a region b release?

I watched this last night! Great transfer which was supprising, DTS-HD MA soundtrack as well!

Funny you should say that. As a child I always wanted to go to visit where they filmed The Goonies. Don't know why, I guess the landscape fascinated me - all the trees and hills. Might actually do it, one day!

The box says Region A, i don't have a Region B Blu-Ray player that i can check it on i'm affraid.
