HD DVD Region Free??

Hi all,

Just a quick question which i am sure will be answered instantly.

I currently own a xbox 360 HD DVD add and tommorrow my parents fly out to hong kong/austraila for a month!

Now with prices being cheap on HD DVD's out there and the fact that they'll probably be cheaper still now HD DVD has gone down the pan i thought i'd get them to bring me a few bargains back!

My question is this... Is the Xbox 360 HD DVD add on region free?, and will the DVD's my parents get me play on it? (and in english!?)

There is no region protection on HD DVD. That's one point why I like(d) HD DVD over Blu-ray.

The drive is still region locked however for playing ordinary SD DVD's as is the drive inside the 360.
