Re: 24hz vs 60hz (no differance)
Perhaps the Samsung accepts 1080p/24 but then processes it as 30 just as the PS3 would do when reading 1080p/24 off the disc and sending it as 1080p/30 for those without a TV that accepts 1080p/24.
I would check the manual or the appropriate AVForum to the panels actual method of handling 1080p/24.

I've had an M87, a similar set to the OP and now have an F86.
I can confirm it does smooth it out if you know what you are looking for. It doesn't remove it, but it makes it better.
@ ussjtrunks - I received the Blu-Ray "Click" with my PS3 package. If you have that, or can borrow it then watch the long pan in the opening scene as Sandler lies on the sofa.
Watch for the edges of objects and you will see the movement is much smoother with 24Hz engaged.
If you can't see Click then try to watch the edges of objects / buildings etc during panning shots in the movies you have and look for a flicker at 60Hz.
View the same scene at 24Hz and you should see the flicker reduced.

In resident evil extinction, I saw something on the mountains at the start ,, is it like a kind of slight flicker,, ??

Re: 24hz vs 60hz (no differance)
The crane scene in Casino Royale is a good place to check for it.
24fps definitely makes a difference, how much of a difference will probably differ from one person to the next but i certainly could see it.

Re: 24hz vs 60hz (no differance)
In my experience it all depends on the size of the screen and viewing distance. I'm not overly concerned about 24hz on my 50" plasma (I sit quite a way from it too), but on a 7' screen I noticed a huge difference switching between my Optoma HD73 and a projector outputting 1080/24.
