Just to add that according to the article 'Into the Wild' and 'Things We Lost in the Fire' will be the last two HD DVD releases.

I'm gutted too...had Sweeney Todd on pre-order.
I think the blu-ray is now going to be out quicker in the UK than US.
Wasn't Sweeney only being released in the UK on Blu Ray anyway as it is Warner in the UK and Paramount in US?
It should mean that we will get it quicker here now than the US will as Paramaount will only be releasing SD discs until the summer...this is all too gutting!  |

no real surprise to be honest which is such a shame. I'm going to buy another HDDVD player so that if my 360 and/or addon kicks the bucket I can still enjoy the HDDVD's I have in the future.
