Oceans 11,12,13 annouced - HD-DVD & Blu-ray

I'm sure this is no surprise to any of us but it's nice to have it offically annouced and should hopefully stop the last of any Warner to go exclusive rumors at least untill CES and allow both sets of HD owners to buy with confidence going into the Christmas season.

Really Looking forward to this set, the first movie is a favourite of mine.

All 3 will be released on November 13th which is day and date with the DVD release for Oceans 13.

Is Oceans 13 any good? I thought the first film was brilliant, but Oceans 12 was rubbish.

Re: Oceans 11,12,13 annouced - HD-DVD & Blu-ray

In my Opinion
Oceans 11 was great
Oceans 12 was poor and a real disapointment
Oceans 13 was very good and a return to form but still wasn't quite as great as the original, still in a summer where the 2nd sequals were a bit of a let down this was one of the best (though the best was the Bourne Ultimatum, which we will also hopefully be getting on HD-DVD this year).

The rotten tomatoes scores (site that takes reviews from hundreds of places)
Oceans 11 - 81%
Oceans 12 - 55%
Oceans 13 - 69%

and since I already mentioned it on this post Bourne Ultimatum - 93%

I would go for the first one only. the 2nd one was horrendous, however the 13 did have a better story.

In other news Warner's Oceans 11 and 12 have been confirmed for UK release on the 5th November, both have a RRP £19.99, these have been added to the UK Release Date page. No news if the box-set will hit UK shores in HD form anytime soon.

I've already pre-ordered 13 and will definately do the same once 11 is put up for pre-order.

If you are talking about the Uk editions it's going to be cheaper (or the same) to buy the US box set of all 3 movies than buying Oceans 11 & 13 from the UK.

If you are talking about US editions I get the impression that they arn't releaseing 11 and 12 on there own.

O12 wasnt as bad as some people are making out. Maybe because O11 was so good, it made O12 look bad.

Re: Oceans 11,12,13 annouced - HD-DVD & Blu-ray

Anyone know the specs of these releases yet - specifically Oceans 13? I noticed in Tesco that neither the UK HD DVD and BluRay versions have lossless audio - I was just wondering if the US variant did?
