US Training Day won't play on XE1

I have just received my second copy from different places of the US hd-dvd of Training Day.

And both copies show the Warner logo and then I get a black screen with a purple message saying "System error occured".

I'm using the UK XE1 with the latest update and this is the only film that I have had this problem with.

Hd-dvd's are region free so I shouldn't have a problem but find it strange that 2 different copies have the same error.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'd appreciate any thoughts on this please as I'd prefer not to buy the UK version as it has no TrueHD. Thanks.

Can anyone at least confirm that their US hd-dvd of Training Day works on the UK Toshiba XE1?

Sorry mate. Don't have this one. From my experence of these forums if someone could help you they would post. I guess no one who's viewed has this disc. Maybe you should contact your supplier and US Warners to find out if this this is a problem disc?
